Attorneys

Melissa Herr has been with the firm since August of 2007 and emphasizes her practice in estate planning and probate, while also practicing family law and general civil litigation. She is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a minor in Public Law, from Missouri State University in May of 2004. Following her graduation from Missouri State University, Melissa attended the University Of Tulsa College Of Law and received her law degree in May of 2007, finishing in the top 1/3 of her class.

While at the University of Tulsa, Melissa studied numerous areas of the law, she was named to the Dean's honor roll, she received a CALI award for her achievements in Criminal Law, Family Law, Native American and Indigenous Rights, and Evidence Workshop, she received the Oklahoma Bar Association Outstanding Family Law Student Award for 2006, she received the Outstanding Year In Review Member Award for her achievements as a staff member on the Energy Law Journal in 2006, she was an editor on the Energy Law Journal, and she completed numerous internships and clerkships throughout her law school career.
